Made to order in the UK
Crackers worth a place at the table.
Most crackers get pulled because it's tradition, then forgotten before the turkey is carved. We started Crackerling because we thought they could be nicer than that: a small, cheerful thing made for the people sitting with you.
Their name on the wrap. A joke you choose (or write). Proper treats inside, not the bits that go straight in the bin. We make each one when you order, and send it ready for Christmas Day.
Why Crackerling?
A few reasons families come back to us.
Made for them, not the whole internet
Write a joke for the person pulling it: their job, their hobby, that story they tell every year. We'll print it inside. If you'd rather not, pick Christmas Cheer, Classic Pun, or Bah Humbug and we'll write one. Their name goes on the wrap too (up to 15 characters, so Dave is easy; Bartholomew might need a nickname).
Something you'd be glad to find inside
No plastic comb. No puzzle that nobody finishes. We fill ours with chocolates, sweets and little gifts people actually keep. Curated and Bespoke crackers are also a proper size on the table, not a supermarket sliver.
Nothing for you to do on the day
They arrive wrapped, filled and named, ready for the table. Christmas morning is busy enough. We've already done the fiddly bit.
Made here in the UK
We make each cracker when you order it, here in Britain. No pallet from July. That's how the name and the joke stay yours.
Our story
It started with a terrible joke about a penguin.
Christmas dinner, a few years back. The crackers came out of a supermarket box, a bit flimsy, with that thin snap that already sounds like a let-down. Inside: a paper hat, a metal puzzle nobody could finish, and a joke that had last been funny in 1987. We looked at each other and thought there had to be a better version of this. So we made one.
We still make them to order in the UK. We write the jokes ourselves (no recycling last year's list), and we take care over what goes inside. A Curated or Bespoke cracker is a decent size when it lands on the table. That raised eyebrow is rather the point.
For someone at your table
Start with their cracker.
Pick your size, tell us who it's for, and we'll take it from there. Delivered to your door, ready for the table.
